SUMMARY:CRSW Training Series
DESCRIPTION:SOS Recovery Community Organization announces a 6-class CRSW Training Series offered for 11 1/2 days between Jan 5-30\, 2026\n\n\n\nRegister here for ALL 6 classes in the CRSW Series at a reduced rate. Participants will complete all educational requirements for a NH CRSW license over 11 1/2 days to be completed in approximately one month. This includes a 2-day course in Motivational Interviewing: The Basics. \nThe total cost for all classes is $575. Email Training Coordinator Eileen Doyle: edoyle@sosrco.org \nTrainers: \nJohn Burns\, MBA\, CRSW\, is the Executive Director of SOS Recovery Community Organization and has been engaged in training delivery and development over the past six years at SOS. He oversees and inspires his staff and the numerous programs SOS offers at recovery centers in Rochester\, Dover and Exeter\, NH. They include syringe service programs and harm reduction supplies at all centers\, family support and parenting programs\, a comprehensive outreach program with those experiencing homelessness and a statewide program for individuals involved in the criminal justice system. \nJohn is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and completed the MINT training of new trainers. He has been trained extensively in motivational interviewing techniques with other MINT members including Stephen Andrew LCSW\, LADC\, CCS\, CGP\, John Gilbert MS\, RD\, CCP\, RHC-III\, ACSM-CEP®\, Ali Hall\, JD\, and Casey Jackson MSW\, MAC\, LICSW\, CDP. He has also completed several coaching and coding trainings and trained under Denise Ernst PhD in Motivational Interviewing Treatment Integrity (MITI) Coding. John is trained and authorized to complete Motivational Interviewing Competency Assessments (MICA) for coding practitioners of MI. \nEileen Doyle\, MST\, CRSW\, is the Training Coordinator at SOS Recovery Community Organization. She trains the CRSW Training Series four times a year and co-trains Motivational Interviewing (MI) with SOS Executive Director John Burns. She is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers and has completed MI trainings with Stephen R. Andrew LCSW\, LADC\, CCS\, John Gilbert\, MS\, RD\, CCP\, RHC-III\, ACSM-CEP® and Jeffery Decker\, founder of Telos Motivational Interviewing for Law Enforcement. She also attends the HETI Learning Community. \nEileen earned her Masters in Science for Teachers from the University of NH and a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts/Journalism from Northeastern University. She is a Certified Journaling Facilitator through the Therapeutic Writing Institute and has led Journaling Workshops for recovery support workers\, cancer survivors\, prison inmates and others seeking healing\, change and growth. Before joining the field of recovery\, she was a high school teacher for 23 years in Haverhill\, Mass. and a journalist at the Eagle-Tribune in Lawrence\, Mass. \n

DESCRIPTION:SOS Recovery Community Organization is presenting the 6th annual RICH conference.  Northeast’s premier peer-recovery & harm reduction conference.  The conference will include nationally recognized keynotes that will present on innovations in peer-based recovery supports and harm reduction with a focus on diversity\, equity and inclusion.  This conference will include nationally recognized keynote speakers and  breakouts over 2 days surrounding the theme of the conference. \nThis conference will attract leaders and advocates within the prevention\, treatment\, recovery\, and harm reduction communities across New England as well as health care providers\, clinical staffs\, licensed professionals\, mental health professionals\, agency staff\, social service providers\, educators\, first-responders and local\, state and federal policy makers and legislators.
