Cheryle Pacapelli

Cheryle Pacapelli has been in long-term recovery from alcohol and other drugs for over 34 years. She is currently the Project Director for Peer Recovery Support Services – Facilitating Organization at Harbor Care in Nashua, NH, where she oversees the development and maintenance of 20 Recovery Community Centers across New Hampshire. In 2023 alone, she led efforts that reached over 100,000 individuals battling substance use disorder, with the state’s Peer Recovery Support programs engaging in more than 8,600 instances of individual support.

Before joining Harbor Care, Cheryle worked in Connecticut. Her roles included Program Manager for Recovery Housing, Director of Operations, and Director of Recovery Services at the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) from 2004 to 2012. Her tenure at CCAR involved managing three Recovery Community Centers, a Telephone Recovery Support Program, a Recovery Housing Program, Volunteer Services, Recovery Coach Training, a Recovery Training Series, and coordinating Recovery Walks. She also founded the Stepping Stone House, a transitional living home for men in recovery aiming to reintegrate into society from treatment or incarceration. Cheryle has dedicated herself to providing and implementing recovery support since 2001.
